Extended Care
Valley Christian School offers an Extended Care program to help provide care for children who need to be dropped off before school (Before Care 7-7:45am) or cannot be picked up at regular dismissal (After Care until 6pm).
Extended Care operates on all days that school is in session, with the exception of the following days:
First day of school, September 9 - no before care
November 10 - no after care
December 18 - half day with no after care
March 25 - no after care
May 28 - no after care
June 9 - no after care
June 10 - no before or after care
Extended care cost is $3 per 15 minute increment, per student. If you wish to have your child attend our before or after care program on a regular basis, you may want to consider one of our money saving flat rate plans:
After care flat rate is $1692 per student, per year and is billed at the beginning of the month from September through May ($188 per student monthly).
Before/after care flat rate is $1890 per student, per year and is also billed at the beginning of the month from September through May ($210 per student monthly).
Extended Care contracts for the 2026-2027 school year are available in the Family Portal and must be turned in by August 28, 2026.
Additionally, the extended care handbook signature page (available on the Family Portal) must also be submitted by August 28, 2026.
Contracts received AFTER the due date will have the total amount split across all remaining payment months.
Unsure if the flat rate is your best option? We recommend calculating your estimated aftercare usage to compare the quarter-hour rate against the flat rate. Please note that we will be unable to retroactively adjust billing options or apply credits later in the school year.
